Natural Curl, Branding, Packaging Design, and Advertising
For Natural Curl, a clean beauty brand focused on natural hair care and self-confidence, my creative process was rooted in capturing the softness, individuality, and strength of natural curls through a refined and feminine design language. As the brand explored joining the True Glory Brands portfolio, I developed a series of concept refinements to elevate its visual identity and better align it with its values of authenticity and self-expression.

The updated logo was custom-drawn to echo the organic, flowing qualities of textured hair—subtle curves and delicate lines were intentionally crafted to reflect the natural movement of curls. To complement this, I introduced a soft, yet vibrant color palette inspired by the rich tones of the product’s raw ingredients—bringing warmth, freshness, and a more modern, uplifting presence to the brand.

Central to this rebrand were a series of custom, hand-drawn patterns and illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator. These elements added a personal, artisanal touch and reinforced the brand's commitment to purity and care. The illustrations were used across packaging and supporting materials to create a cohesive, tactile experience that felt both elegant and approachable.

Overall, these graphic choices helped establish Natural Curl as a premium, trustworthy brand while maintaining a deeply human and feminine sensibility. The result was a visual identity that celebrated natural beauty with clarity, softness, and intention.
